Who is Jesus?

Another question that is almost as important, Who needs Jesus? If you are in this broken world and don't already have a personal relationship with Him, the answer is you. We live in a world that is broken by sin. We all need the unfailing love and grace of Christ Jesus. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. "The wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23.

There is nothing we can do to get closer to God without Jesus. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16.

This has become a bible verse that is thrown around so often that some take it for granted, but it sums up the whole truth into one simple sentence. Jesus is God who took the form of man, came to this earth and lived a perfect, sinless life. He was crucified for the sins of the world. He paid the sacrifice for our sin. "God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Jesus rose from the dead, and now lives in Heaven . He offers us a free ticket to living eternally with Him in Heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6

God reaches out to us in love. He invites us to become His children. "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" John 1:12

If you are ready to accept Jesus into your life and begin living for Him you will need to believe this as truth and pray a prayer something like this: Dear Lord, thank you for dying for my sins. Thank you for dying for me so I can live. I know that I am a sinner. I ask that you forgive me for my sins. I pray that you will dwell in my heart. Lord, I am asking that you become my Lord and Savior. I know that this prayer alone is not what saves me, but that my belief in your grace and power alone is what will save me from eternity in hell. Thank you Jesus for this day. Thank you for a new start. Please give me a desire to live for You. Amen.
